Partnering with ChatGPT on my wellness path — with boundaries that protect me. I didn’t think I’d end up using ChatGPT to manage my health. And I definitely didn’t think I’d enjoy it.
I just discovered that Google’s Gemini has a “deep research” feature. After the initial prompt, it asks if you want it to do deep research.
I reads 10–20 websites and creates a detailed report. It was amazing.
I asked Gemini Pro 2.5 how to read a PCr test, which is the test that tells patients whether their CML is detectable or not and how well their medication is working.
I would love to switch over to the AI tools that are included with my Google Workspace subscription since it is bundled into what I am already paying for (email, Docs, etc). I dabbled with it a few weeks ago and I also checked out Claude. I might need to give Gemini Pro another chance. But for now, I find ChatGPT soooo much more pleasant to work with. It is probably a sort of bias after spending considerable time with it already. Thanks for the nudge. I will give it another chance.
I am subscribed to ChatGPT Plus and I mostly use GPT-4o. I have a bunch of docs that I could share but then it sorta seems like I am turning this Substack into "It's All Happening... withChatGPT". LOL! Maybe there's something to that.
When I read on LinkedIn that people were concerned about AI tools having syncophantic and sandbagging behavior, I asked ChatGPT about that and the response was interesting. That led us to develop a CT Stack System for prompt optimization that ChatGPT described as a personal operating system. More LOL.
I have been thinking about how I could offer a series of workshops about what I have learned about using ChatGPT. These are the project folders I've set up so far and each have a bunch of topic-based chats.

Privacy concerns do give me pause. I am trying to figure out how best to go about things.
Thank you, James! That really means a lot. I’ve been on this health and wellness path for a couple of years now, but using ChatGPT is a more recent thing. It still feels a bit like building the bridge as I walk it, but I’m trying to stay thoughtful and open as things evolve. I’ll keep sharing along the way — and if you’re exploring anything similar (or just curious), I’d love to hear how it’s unfolding for you, too.

You might want to check it out.

I hear you. Which version/model of ChatGPT are you using?
I think you’re on to something “partnering” with AI on your wellness journey.

Pioneering is what you’re up to, here. Very interested to watch this evolve.
